SUMMER AIN'T OVER YET!!!

This Saturday, November 17th from 4-9pm, Alite Designs is excited to announce that we will co-host THE CAMP-IN MOVIE NIGHT with Rice Paper Scissors and Mission Dispatch! We’re combining our love for food, movies, and the outdoors to create a pop-up outdoor dinner and movie night!  And on the big screen, we'll be showing WET HOT AMERICAN SUMMER!  We invite you to join us and bring along your blankets, chairs, pillows, sleeping bags, and any other outdoor items necessary to get cozy for the movie.  Bust out your camping chairs, headlamps, tents, and little red stools if you've got 'em!  Alite will set up tents and chairs for additional lounging, and we'll have the Alite cornhole boards in full force for some friendly pre-movie cornhole competition!!

For dinner, Rice Paper Scissors will be selling their wonderfully delicious fried and savory dishes from 4-7pm, and will open up a concession stand from 6:30-9pm for the movie.  Lanterns and incense will lead the way to little red stools, where Rice Paper Scissors will sell a selection of Vietnamese food: Hanoi-Style Beef Pho, Fried Egg Banh Mi’s and Fried Oysters.

Note: this is not a sleepover, as much as we'd like it to be!

ALITE will be at Treasure Island Music Festival this weekend!!  Alite Designs, along with a crew of other amazing local designers, will be featured in the Treasure Island General Store as part of WorkshopSF's CAMP DIY!  We'll be instigating some hot Field Day action with outdoor camp games and Alite goodie giveaways!  Maybe you remember last years raucous TIMF sleeping bag race....

Put on your best tube socks, cut offs, camp gear and get your DIY on! One part rock & roll, one part old school, slighty naughty summer camp, Workshop SF, Kelly Malone, Alite Designs & the folks at TIMF team up to give you a full day of fun, and mostly free, activities. Including dream catchers, friendship bracelets, fringed tee shirt making, terrariums, headbands, beer koozies and more. You can hang out in the one of a kind camp, designed by Kelly Malone, Building Resources, Antlre Creative and a creative swat team of over 16 Bay Area artists, woodworkers, makers, interior designers and stoners.

You can earn screen printed merit badges, add ‘em to a denim scout sash. Hang out under the wooden trees and look up at the stars. Kick it in the Zine yurt. Make out in a tent. Crochet a teepee. Play cornhole. Shop in our camp store, complete with all your camp favorites, one of a kind killer merch from Workshop, Amos Goldbaum, Gangs of San Francisco, Motley Goods, Alite Designs, Indosole & more. It’s pretty much your dream camp, for grown ups and it’s okay to makeout with the cute counselors, listen to rock'n'roll and drink beer.
