Wednesday, June 27th - Calling all Campers - Singles Mixer with TryMe and Alite Designs!
On Wednesday, June 27th, join other SINGLE outdoor lovers at "Calling All Campers", a singles mixer from TryMe and Alite Designs! To prep you for some outdoor action over the Fourth, we've got Patrick Johnson, bartender extraordinaire from Churchill's, showing you how to use farmer's market fruits to concoct simple vodka and bourbon cocktails that you can take with you to the barbecue or to the fire side. We've got Tae Kim, Alite founder and lead designer, giving tips for new campers on how to plan, pack for, and enjoy simple outdoor excursions, whether they are for one, or for two. Special Alite giveaways, games, and camp snacks are included!

Thursday, June 28th - Join us for a very special acoustic performance: Magic! Magic Roses @ Alite!
On the evening of Thursday, June 28th, Alite Designs is extremely excited to present a special performance from Magic! Magic Roses! This is the very first in an ongoing series of performances that will take place in the event space at Alite HQ, highlighting some of our favorite artists from the Bay Area. Magic! Magic Roses make dreamy, harmony-rich, meditative folk music in San Francisco, CA. Originally formed to simply play a few Jimmie Rodgers covers, band members Kate Sweeney and Sarah Simon quickly began collaborating on original songs with influences ranging from The Carter Family to Leonard Cohen. Their upcoming album was recorded here in SF at Tiny Telephone studios. Fresh from two LA shows where Farmer Dave Scher (of Beachwood Sparks) invited the band to perform as part of his annual Summer Blast Off, Magic! Magic Roses will be performing a special, intimate concert in the event space of ALITE HQ.

Friday, June 29th - Join us for Alite Founder Tae Kim's Sleeping Bag 101 presentation!
In the third installment of Alite's Outdoor 101 workshop series, Tae Kim will discuss the all-important sleeping bags, that essential item for catching Z's amongst the trees. You will learn about great sleeping bag design, materials commonly used for production, and which features to pay attention to when selecting your own sleeping bag. This will be a fantastic workshop for anyone interested in either learning about great design, or just figuring out how to shop for the perfect sleeping bag.
